We spent the last week of June in London celebrating my birthday, seeing two of our favorite artists (Zach Bryan and Dermot Kennedy—!!!) at BST Hyde Park, and soaking up everything this city has to offer. It was one of those weeks that felt both fast and full, with so much eating, drinking, walking, and people-watching packed into just five days.

What I Packed for Hot London Weather
London was hot this week—think low 90s and muggy in the city—so I packed breathable fabrics, a mix of shorts and light pants, and comfy walking shoes. Here’s a quick look at my daily outfits.
Outfit #1: Travel Day & Arrival
We had a 3:30am wakeup call, so this day called for something casual. I wore this black tank from Anthropologie (one of my favorite tops) paired with Everlane jeans I cut into shorts, and my Adidas sambas. For the plane I layered a white button down so I wasn’t cold.

Outfit #2: Birthday Dinner
I snagged this dress from COS right before our trip and knew I had to have it as soon as I tired it on and realized it had POCKETS! It’s sewn and cut in a kind of ‘barrel leg’ style and I love it. It’s super comfortable and easy to dress up or down (my kind of dress).

Outfit #3: Sightseeing Day
This day was a little colder, and superrr gray. I honestly didn’t know what to wear and was in a weird mood in the morning so this is what I ened up wearing. I feel like it’s kind of weird (lol), but the outfit consisted of pieces I absolutely love (the best tank, favorite jeans, great travel shoes) so I say whatever. I was comfy and set for the day.

Outfit #4: Feat. My New Favorite Pants
The day before I headed into Uniqlo to check out a few of their new items I had seen online. We don’t have Uniqlo in Switzerland and they don’t ship here so anytime I am ANWYEHRE with a Uniqlo, I head in. I had seen they have a barrel leg pant and as soon as I buttoned them I knew they were coming home with me. They are a super lightweight fabric, don’t wrinkle, and don’t stretch out. Need I say more? I wore them with my Tevas during the day and this COS tank top at night, and swapped out the Tevas for dressier sandals for dinner.

Outfit #5: Casual Final Day
Our last day was HOT, in the low 90’s and in the city you know that feels pretty close to 100. I wore my Salomon XT-6 sneakers, a pair of Everlane jeans I cut into shorts (sneaking in on that Bermuda short trend), and this gray tank from Anthropologie.

This trip was the perfect blend of low-key hangs and city adventures. London never disappoints—and I already can’t wait to go back. Let me know if you want a full London food guide or a summer packing list. I’d love to put that together if there’s interest!
