The Roundup Week 9

Did February just fly by, or was it just me? I can’t believe it’s already March! But I’m loving the longer days and those sunny moments. Last week, we took a quick trip to Milan and had the best seafood pasta ever. Here’s a recap of my last week of February.

Each week, I share moments from my week—pieces I’m adding to my wardrobe, new beauty finds, what I’m eating or meal prepping, and everything else that feels worth sharing. This week’s lineup includes a day trip to Milan, what I am reading on Everand, things in my shopping cart, and meals that make cooking feel easy. Let’s dive into it…

24 Hours in Milan | We are itching for a vacation badly, but we haven’t gotten anything planned yet. But, when we saw the weather was above 34 degrees AND SUNNY in Milan, we decide to hop into the car. It’s about a three hour drive for us, which is easy peasy. We left Zurich at 7am and were there for a 10am coffee in the city. Dream right? We spent the day eating, shopping, and soaking in the sun. Here’s where we went:

  • Le Jardin Bistro for fabulous sweets and espresso
  • Lunch with a view of the Duomo at Giacomo Milano (FABULOUS!)
  • Walking through and window shopping at Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele II (I saw this purse at Gucci and immediately added it to my wish list!)
  • Gelato at Le Colonne (my favorite in Milan)
  • Beers in Navigli at Navigli Craft Beer

What I Am Reading | I use Everand on my iPad and love it! They have great books, as well as audiobooks and podcasts. I am currently reading ‘The Breakaway‘ by Jennifer Weiner and am enjoying it so far! It’s an easy read, but heartfelt and gives me the soul-searching vibe I’ve been feeling lately.

My Nighttime Routine | Whether we are watching a t.v. show or reading before bed, my husband and I are religious about our nighttime tea. We love Yogi Tea bedtime tea, mixed with CALM magnesium powder for muscle support and relaxation. It’s also great for digestion!

Links Worth Sharing | A few other things I love this week that I think you will too.

  • I snagged my hands on The Ordinary GF 15% Serum for visible skin repair and wrinkles and am about half-way through the bottle and love it! I am using this morning and night after my red-light mask and think it’s helping my forehead lines.
  • I love my Adidas Spezial’s and am looking to add another pair to my collection for spring. I am eyeing this yellow pair.
  • I have these Citizen’s of Humanity Miro reaxed jeans in my shopping cart right now and am just debating not the size – but I feel like these would be the perfect edition to spring wardrobe!

Meals We Loved | I shared last week what I was meal prepping and the harissa chicken bowls were a huge success! I also threw together Martha Stewart’s Mac & cheese on Saturday and it was just the cozy meal I needed. Grab the recipe here!

Let me know what you are looking forward to this March – here to support you all and cheer you on in this new month.

Xoxo, Linds
